Siân Pelleschi, Owner of Sorted!

A home and office decluttering and organising service which takes away the stresses and strains of everyday life

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved organising – everything from sorting out paperwork and writing lists to keeping calendars right up to date… it’s something I love! If you were to ask me what my idea of heaven would be, it’s being presented with a total mess and restoring it to complete order.

This passion served me well when I worked in the events industry for more than 15 years – helping clients to plan and run their special occasions, which could be anything from weddings and birthday parties to big corporate affairs, team away days and all-important board meetings!

The truth is that I never wanted to be a business owner, but I was forced due to a negative working environment leaving me no choice but to embark upon a path of entrepreneurship out of pure necessity. In order to get my life back and safeguard my mental health, I flew solo and it’s the best thing I ever did.

Using all my organisational skills and knowledge of the events industry, I founded my own events-based business eight years ago. I still run it but consciously decided to take a step back from it in 2016 following the arrival of my eldest son. That particular world is so fast-paced and demanding, so it was time to focus on something else I’d love in a different way and that would help people as well.

With Sorted!, which I founded in Cheshire that same year, my goal is to inspire, motivate and declutter as many lives and businesses as possible. A member of the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers, I’ve discovered that clients benefit from having someone coming into their home or office and, without judgement, assessing the situation; then it’s time to make a start!

Knowing that I help people to find peace of mind in what is a very busy world – allowing them to focus on more exciting parts of their lives – is all the motivation I need. I feel happy and settled in my working life, which perfectly complements the amazing home life I share with my husband, our two little boys and Red the dog and Button the cat.
